Kate Wind has 10 years experience in the beauty industry, toggling between retail and spa management on the Las Vegas Strip. She currently runs her own consulting firm. She started her spa career at Treasure Island in 2006 as an Assistant Manager with the reopening of ‘Wet’. Using her degree in Psychology and a Massage License, she worked her way up in the industry by understanding the business from a management and therapist perception.
While managing a team is her true love, she has found passion in teaching fellow spa directors about retail and the role it plays in the spa environment. Most recently she oversaw a team of 50+ employees at Spa Mio inside The M Resort in Las Vegas while frequently writing and speaking for Skin Inc. on retail sales and factors.
