LVSA Fitness Class for Charity

Las Vegas, NV. October 6, 2013 – The Las Vegas Spa Association (LVSA) held their 1st annual charity event called the “NextStep X-Vegas.” Members of “Team LVSA” participated in a group exercise class lead by Super Trainer Steven Maresca. In 2012 Steven suffered a life altering surfing accident that broke his neck.

The event raised awareness and provided proceeds to benefit NextStep Fitness which assists persons living with paralysis and other physical disabilities. The nationally recognized non-profit organization provides the opportunity for health and recovery through affordable and progressive community fitness, health, and wellness facilities.

Event Chair Jennifer Lohman stated, “We are proud to help this tremendous organization and we look forward to growing the event every year. We loved the class and had a great time exercising with Steve!” The 50 minute energy charged class event took place outside at the South Point Casino and Spa pool area and TEAM LVSA raised $3000.

The Las Vegas Spa Association (LVSA) was started as a networking solution for Las Vegas spa directors and vendors. The propose was to inspire and encourage spa directors to share ideas, services and industry trends in a fun, social setting with the goal of providing the best possible spa experience for Las Vegas guests.
