Shannon began his career at Caesars Palace in 2007 as Assistant Manager of Concierge Services before moving to Assistant Manager of Wedding Services, and later, promoted to Hotel Manager. He transitioned to the Spa Manager position in fall 2008, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the 55,000-square-foot spa, retail and fitness facilities, and the management of more than 120 employees.
Promoted to Spa Director in January 2012 and he is responsible for overseeing the long-term strategies, developing and strengthening the Qua brand, creating and implementing the menu of spa services, and driving the prestigious Forbes 4-Star initiative
Throughout his career, Shannon has been the recipient of several prestigious awards. Most recently he received the Spa Manager Dedication Award for 2011 by the Las Vegas Spa Association, for his outstanding leadership and dedication to the spa industry, and was named a Manager of the Year Award Finalist in 2011 by the Nevada Hotel & Lodging Association. In 2010, he received the Rising Star Award by the Las Vegas Business Press, and in 2009 was named Favorite Spa Manager by SpaFinder International.
