Las Vegas, NV. March 15, 2015 – On another sunny Sunday morning in Las Vegas, the Las Vegas Spa Association (LVSA) held their 5th annual “Cancer Climb.” Members of “Team LVSA” were loaded onto team vans and transported to the majestic Red Rock Canyon Conservation Area. The hikers, young and old enjoyed a one hour hike through the most beautiful location in Las Vegas.
Once again, the event raised proceeds to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) which improves the quality of life of patients and their families. Event organizers Deirdre and Donnie Strunk led the 30 hikers to the scenic trail.
The post hike party provided refreshments and raffle prizes for the hikers. LVSA Board Chair, Jennifer Lynn added, “For five years we have hosted a great event and this was the best yet. My hope is more spas and vendors will join the fun next year.” The event raised over $3000 and still counting.
