Las Vegas, NV. June 14, 2023 – On June 12, 2023, Governor Lombardo signed SB161 into law, making Nevada the first state to enact the Interstate Massage Compact. Nevada is the first state in the nation to adopt the Interstate Massage Compact (IMpact).

IMpact allows massage therapists who maintain an active, unencumbered license in the compact member state where they reside to apply for a multistate license.

LVSA Director of Community Outreach, Kate Wind stated, “We are all extremely proud of Dierdre, her support for the Project Team and our spa community.”
